A grocery store the size of a promise

We started PureFoodCorner because "where does my food come from?" deserved a real answer, not a shrug.

Market shelves stocked with fresh organic produce
Our story

From one farm stand to your corner

In 2019, our founders Rosa and Ben were running a Saturday farm stand for Rosa's family orchard. Customers kept asking the same question: "where do I get food like this the other six days?" The honest answer was: you mostly don't.

So we opened the corner. One small market, 28 partner farms within 150 miles, a delivery fleet made of cargo bikes, and one rule we've never broken: if we can't tell you who grew it, we don't sell it.

  • Radical traceability. Every crate is labeled with the farm and harvest date — ask, and we'll tell you more than you wanted to know.
  • Zero-waste by default. Returnable crates, a bulk aisle, and yesterday's surplus becomes today's juice and broth.
  • Farmers get a fair cut. Our farms set their own prices. We take a fixed margin, printed on the shelf tag.
Our values

What "pure" means to us

Grown close

150 miles max. Food that travels less tastes more — and the farmer can drop by for coffee.

Picked ripe

Harvested when ready, not when convenient for a truck schedule. Dawn-picked, shelved by noon.

Priced honestly

Our margin is printed on the shelf tag. Good food costs what it costs; nobody should wonder why.

Wasted never

Surplus becomes juice, broth, and Friday's "ugly but delicious" basket at half price.
